Newspapers
Newspapers offer information on the communities our ancestors lived in. They might also offer specific information about those ancestors. There are many printed and online indexes to California Newspapers as well as many digitized newsletters available online. For a list of all known newspaper publications and where you can find original or microfilm copies visit the California Newspaper Project Website hosted by the University of California Riverside.
